With so many available recently, it is wise to have a name you can believe. The product is certainly that and will be a great buy. The manufacturer have included some nice touches and this results in good value. You can believe this review, i hope you can try to buy this product if you want know this product. I had previously submitted a pretty scathing review of the software, but as it turns out I was having a hardware issue, lol (bum unit). Once I got a replacement, things were much better.
This is the foot controller we've all dreamed about for ages. The power and flexibility of this thing is amazing.
My apologies to the folks at KMI for not giving it a proper chance the first time around. There are still little bugs here and there (hence 4 stars and not 5), but nothing that will prevent you from utilizing this fantastic foot controller.
Time to put the FCB1010 in the gear closet, lol.

SoftStep: Control MIDI for Musicians
The SoftStep Foot Controller works with the SoftStep software application, turning simple foot motions into finely tailored MIDI controls. These modified control sources are mappable to any MIDI or OSC destination, giving the player unlimited potential for creative expression.
Expressive Control at your Feet
