This thing is great for the price. It's sturdy for a MIDI keyboard and is surprisingly fun to play. No, it doesn't have the full weight of a concert piano but honestly this semi-weighted bit is a HUGE step up from the norm of non-weighted. I've had it a few months now and have made a significant amount of music using it, I love the feel of it. The knobs and buttons are sturdy, and it has a slim profile so it doesn't take up too much room. You will not find a MIDI of this size for this price other than this, it is a massive step up from everything else in its price range. I used to have an M Audio Oxygen 61 but it broke fairly quickly, but regardless I already like this more. If you plan on having full MIDI control (which is necessary for making most electronic music but not if you just want to use this as a keyboard in a band) you'll need to buy some other MIDI controllers, at least something that has trigger pads and something with faders, maybe one that does both if you're fancy, but the knobs and buttons on this are fine for what they are.
Whoever wrote the review saying it didn't come with the power cord has no idea what they're talking about. If you're using this as a MIDI controller on a modern computer you don't need a power cord, the power is supplied by the computer.
All in all, heavily recommended, and I play on this daily and have been doing so for a few months now, it hasn't been showing any sign of wear, it is sturdier than its price tag.

When it comes to remote control, you get 8 knobs, 10 assignable switches, 2 wheels (Pitch Bend Modulation), 1 pedal port and 1 fader, for a total of 22 assignable controllers - which means total control of your operating environment.
